Spectral DNC Reviews

Spectral DNC is a topical solution in spray form. The user must spray ten pumps of the product onto the affected area of the scalp two times per day.

How Does Spectral DNC work?

Like many of its competitors, it contains the drug Minoxidil in compound form, marketed as “Amenexil.” Minoxidil is the only FDA-approved drug that has been clinically proven in official trials to regrow hair. Spectral DNC takes Minoxidil a step further, combining it with ingredients that thicken the hair follicle, according to its manufacturer. This thickening process is something that Minoxidil alone cannot accomplish. The premise is that hair not only grows back, but the actual individual hairs that grow are thicker.

While a majority of its competitors’ topical solutions also contain Minoxidil, Spectral DNC sets itself apart from their products in one more way. According to its manufacturer, Spectral DNC uses nanosome technology. “Nanosomes” are microspheres which are 200 times smaller than human hair cells.

The active ingredients in Spectral DNC are surrounded inside nanosomes. Once delivered to the scalp, the nanosomes gradually release the active ingredients over a 15 hour period. The result is a constant, conceivably round-the-clock delivery of the elements that regrow hair.

Spectral also makes supplementary products, including shampoo and conditioner. These items are sold separately. They may support, enhance and speed the work that the topical spray is doing, but they do not contain Amenexil themselves.

Does Spectral DNC Really Work?

Anecdotal reports seem to indicate that many users have found this product to be effective at regrowing hair and stopping further loss. However, it appears that in many cases the effect only lasts as long as the product is being used. Hair loss may return upon ceasing to use the solution. Some users reported only minimal regrowth, and others reported none at all. There is no evidence that Spectral DNC has ever returned a full head of hair to any user.

Our Conclusion

One of the things that we like about Spectral DNC is that purchasers can choose to use only the topical spray (the most effective part of the Spectral line). Other hair loss product manufacturers only sell their pieces as a whole system, thus raising the overall price. Spectral lets users choose only the parts of the system that they want or can afford at one time.

The downside is that one 60 ml. bottle of Spectral DNC lasts only 4-6 weeks for most users. Thus, continued use may end up costing users 50 dollars or more per month. Users who want to maintain hair growth may, in theory, may have to pay 50 dollars a month for the rest of their lives.

Spectral DNC is considerably less onerous to use than many of its competitors’ products. It should be noted, though, that users are recommended not to blow dry their hair when using this solution, a fact that some potential buyers might find problematic. It should also be noted that the spray is a bit messy.

We believe Spectral DNC has some merit, and its “smart” technology does indeed set it apart from its competitors. However, users should take care to read about its possible side effects, though they are rare, which includes possible sexual dysfunction. It should also be noted that users who have tried other products containing Minoxidil and haven’t been able to successfully regrow hair probably won’t get results from Spectral DNC either.
