Inhairit is a line of products designed to slow/stop hair loss. The line consists of shampoo, conditioner, scalp treatment and an oral supplement. The products may be purchased as single items or as a whole set.
According to the manufacturer, the Inhairit line of products is “drug free.” They contain numerous natural/herbal ingredients that have long been associated with hair growth and a healthy scalp.
How Does Inhairit Work?
The key product in the Inhairit line is the topical scalp treatment. It is applied directly to the scalp once per day and should not be washed out. The ingredients are able to be delivered straight to the follicles where new hair cells are produced. They help to block the accumulation of DHT in the follicles.
DHT is a proven cause of hair loss, although it can occur for other reasons too. DHT is formed when some of the body’s enzymes combine with testosterone. The more DHT which is formed, the greater the loss of hair.
The shampoo and conditioner work in a similar manner to the scalp treatment. They contain many similar ingredients and work as an effective support to the scalp treatment.
The oral supplement works from the inside out instead of the outside in like the other products. The supplement contains herbs like Saw Palmetto, Amla (Emblica Officinalis), and others associated with healthy hair. They may slow loss, stave off premature graying and contribute to an overall appearance of health and fullness.
Does Inhairit Really Work?
There is no evidence that Inhairit regrows hair in spots where hair has already been lost due to dormant follicles. Instead, it is only effective on active/productive follicles. Many users seem to agree that Inhairit appears to have slowed or stopped excessive hair loss and made existing hair stronger and less prone to breakage.
According to anecdotal reports, it appears that a majority of users who experienced mild to moderate hair loss noticed at least some beneficial effects. Many users felt their hair looked fuller and shinier and felt smoother and stronger. Users who seem to experience the best results are those who use all of the products simultaneously, or at least the scalp treatment and the oral supplement together.

If you only want to use one product in the Inhairit line, the scalp treatment is your best choice. The shampoo and conditioner are a good supplement to the scalp treatment, but probably won’t be as effective at stopping hair loss because they only stay in contact with the scalp for a short period of time and then get rinsed out. We also recommend using the oral supplement, if not the shampoo and conditioner too.
It is important to note that if Inhairit works primarily by inhibiting the accumulation of DHT in the follicles, then it may not work as well for women as for men. Women do not generally produce DHT in the excessive amounts that some men do.
This is not to say that Inhairit will not work for women. Many female users seem satisfied that the system has improved the overall condition of their hair. This may be because of the other ingredients in the products which are associated with healthy growth and maintenance.
Complaints regarding Inhairit include the inconvenience of application of the scalp treatment. Some users found it messy, but those who reported that the product worked for them didn’t seem to mind the extra inconvenience. The other products in the system were relatively painless to use as directed.
Inhairit is one of the less popular hair loss treatments on the market. This seems to be due more to lack of advertising than lack of effectiveness. However, some users felt Inhairit didn’t work at all, so potential buyers shouldn’t be surprised if they find it won’t work for them.
