Advecia is a 100% natural treatment for hair loss, containing herbal supplements and no synthetic chemicals. It is taken by the user in the form of a pill/tablet. It is a stand-alone product, unlike other competitors whose systems are comprised of two or three parts (usually an oral tablet and one or more topical formulas).

How does Advecia Work?

Advecia is one of the more unique supplements on the market, in that it contains nothing synthetic. Many of its ingredients are well known to stop hair loss, such as Saw Palmetto. It is also unique in that many such ingredients are found in higher concentrations/percentages in this product than in its competitor’s formulas.

Another factor that distinguishes it from many of its competitors is its well-rounded approach to hair loss. Some products for baldness only focus on one or two known factors which contribute to baldness, or Androgenic Alopecia, also known as Male Pattern Baldness. Since it can be difficult for an individual to pinpoint exactly what is causing his baldness, a well-rounded treatment like Advecia may produce better results in some cases.

Some of Advecia’s ingredients target DHT, thought to be one of the major contributors to hair loss in men. This androgen is formed when testosterone is transformed by the enzyme known as 5-alpha reductase. The more this reaction occurs in the body, the more DHT is formed, and the more hair loss that is likely to occur as a result. Advecia’s ingredients help to stop this reaction from occurring.

Does Advecia Really Work?

Overall, more users seem to be satisfied with Advecia than had negative comments. It appears that a majority of users agree that it was effective at stopping loss that was already in process and preventing further loss.

What Advecia does seem to lack over the products of some of its competitors is an ability to grow new hair. Some users experienced no regrowth at all. Those who did seem to indicate that the new growth was minimal.

Our Conclusion

It appears that Advecia is fairly effective at stopping loss of hair, but not as effective as some of its competitors at regrowing new hair. This may be due, at least in part, to the fact that Advecia is an oral supplement only. Unlike most of its competitors, it does not have a topical component. A topical formula may be the missing ingredient in the Advecia system.

On the other hand, its system is much less onerous than many of its competitors. Such products have numerous steps and involve messy topical products that take time and commitment to use. Advecia’s lack of extra steps makes it more appealing to those who don’t want to bother with topical formulas and extra steps.

In short, if you are in the very beginning stages of hair loss, it is probably a great product for you. It may stop further loss and help you keep what you currently have. However, if you want to grow hair where it has already been lost, you may need to invest in a topical solution from another manufacturer to go along with Advecia.

Additionally, it appears that Advecia is more effective on men than on women. This is likely because most of its ingredients target DHT, a hormone not found in substantial quantities in the female body. Therefore, women will probably have more success with a product that is formulated for women.
